Covid 19
Hello Sailors!!
I am sure you heard all about what is going on in the cruise industry and the uncertainty about future sailings.
While some countries may open for business earlier, others may stay in lockdown longer. This in mind, cruise lines monitor World Health Developments and are in contact with major health agencies. So you are in good hands.
Bottom line, if it is not safe, they will not sail.
I am working closely with the cruise lines and we all hope that in the next couple of months the situation will allow us to travel the world again. But be sure that ships will only sail, when it's safe to do so. I believe also that there will be a price drop on specific sailings, or extra perks, to get the cruisers back on the ship. As soon as I hear of anything, I will let you all know.
For the experienced cruisers it will not be an issue to travel again and as soon as we get the OK, we will do it. The ships may not be at 100% capacity but on a positive note, everything will be less crowded, and the service will be outstanding. For everyone that has done only one or two cruises or not one at all, this is the time to make a reservation. Cancellation policies are lifted and adjusted to the current situation; you will not lose any money.

Now that many of us are in lockdown, think about when and where you want to go. Could be this year, next or even 2022. Sure it depends on travel restrictions and how this pandemic will end. But why not sit down and see what really interests you. I can book you on any cruise sailing in the world. But I have to say I really don't like Carnival. Sorry.
Let me know what you are looking for, dates, destinations, cruise lines, categories etc. and I will get you the best possible cruise fares. As we belong to Virtuoso, often we get much better deals or extras on sailings. especially with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. River Cruises like Viking, AmaWaterways and Uniworld are coming down on fares already.
Think about Travel Insurance. It's cheaper than you think and you are covered in case of an emergency. Just make sure to tell them where are you going and include those destinations in your request for a quote. Pandemics are normally not covered, but any other medical issues usually are. I am working with RoamRight and had only good experiences with them. You can use them for any vacation or trip of course. Click HERE
and check it out.
If you are not an experienced cruiser or you really in need of a cruise vacation soon, think about something local like cruises out of NYC, Florida, West Coast or Texas. Travel to the ship will not take all day, I hope, and you can be on a ship in no time.
I am working on new sailings, new ports, and new concepts for the near future to bring you an unforgettable vacation. Stay tuned for more information later this year.
In the weeks ahead I will inform you of any changes and updates the cruise lines send my way.
Please be safe, wash your hands, stay home, protect yourself and others, and together we will make it through this pandemic.
We are a big family and we all have something in common – we love to explore the world by sea. And we will continue doing so.
If there is anything, I can do for you, if you have any questions, concerns or ideas, please feel free to contact me any time by phone or email.
Thank you and all the best.
